Rain cools east & west UP

In Uttar Pradesh, the weather has become pleasant in some eastern and western districts. Moderate to heavy rain has occurred in Ghazipur and Bareilly districts during past 24 hours. In Gorakhpur, the day’s maximum temperature has gone one degree below normal at 36 degrees Celsius. Our Gorakhpur Correspondent quoting Met officials, says that dense clouds are looming over most of the eastern districts whereas the sky is partly cloudy in some central and western districts.Our correspondent reports that the sky is cloudy and weather has become cooler in some eastern districts. Rain has occurred at some places in Varanasi and Azamgarh divisions during past 24 hours. The met office has predicted a drop of 5 to 6 degrees Celsius in this area during next two days. Thundershowers are likely to occur in Bareilly, Shahjehanpur and the districts of Gorakhpur, Basti and Azamgarh divisions during next 24 hours. The farmers in the area have already started ploughing of their fields to prepare for Kharif crops. Nursery of paddy is being sown at some places.
