Incessant rain continues to lash Pudducherry and Karikal for the 4th successive day today. The Union Territory government has declared holiday for all schools and colleges in Pudducherry and Karikal on Wednesday in view of continuous rains. Pudduchery received 80.6 millimeter while Karikal received 118.6 millimeter rainfall in the last 24 hours .<br/><br/> <br/>
