In UP, the rain continues to disrupt normal life in various parts of the state. The road traffic and electricity supply has been badly hampered across the state. AIR correspondent quoting the met officials says that thick clouds are looming over eastern and central regions of the state.The rain continued to lash eastern up trough-out the day today hampering the normal life. The schools were closed on account of Vshwakarma Puja but the office going people faced difficulty due to rain. The water logged city roads wore a deserted look and people preferred to remain indoors. Over 20 centimeter rainfall has been recorded in Gorakhpur. The met office has predicted similar conditions to prevail during next 24 hours.
