Wide spread rain is continuing in almost all over eastern Uttar Pradesh since this morning. According to Met Department, moderate to heavy rain fall has been recorded in many places of eastern and western UP in last 24 hours. The Met Department says that Churk in Mirzapur region has recorded highest 104 milimetre of rain fall in last 24 hours while Varanasi recoded 60 milimeter rain. Gorkhpur, Kanpur, Allahabad, Lucknow, Faizabad and Jhansi division have also recorded good rain fall. Several areas of Western UP have also received moderate to heavy rain fall.
