In Uttar Presdesh, the monsoon rain continue to lash several eastern UP districts while the temperature is still above normal in some districts of central and western region. <br/> <br/>According to met office the day’s maximum temperature remained 1 to 3 degrees above normal in Agra, Bareilly and Allahabad with during last twenty four hours. Light rain has occurred in Allahabad and Lucknow on Monday morning. The incessant rain continues to lash various districts of eastern UP since late last night. <br/> <br/>Gorakhpur remained wettest place with 62.3 mm of rain. According to met office light to medium rainfall has occurred in Allahabad, Lucknow, Shahjehanpur, Bareilly, Ballia, Basti, Faizabad and Gonda Monday morning. <br/> <br/>The rain has hampered daily life of the people in the eastern part as the low lying areas in many cities have been submerged. <br/> <br/>AIR Gorakhpur correspondent reports that the level of major rivers, Rapti, Ghaghra and Burhi Gandak has started rising.<br/>
