Rain brought much needed relief to the people from scorching heat in several parts of the country.<br/><br/>Early morning rain lashed the national capital bringing relief to the people from the sweltering heat today. Met department has forecast thunderstorm with rain during the day as well. <br/><br/>In Uttar Pradesh, two persons were killed in rain-related incidents in Jaunpur, while nearly half a dozen people were injured as stormy weather prevailed in the district.<br/><br/>Rain occurred in parts of Telangana bringing down the mercury. Rainfall also occurred in parts of Karnataka, Kerala, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu. <br/><br/>In Odisha too, rains brought respite from the blistering heat.
