In Jammu and Kashmir, Kargil Srinagar National Highway has been closed for traffic due to heavy rain fall and landslides at various places. The whole Kargil district has experienced heavy rain fall and snow fall from the last five days. <br/><br/>According to experts, in this season the farmers will incur lose of apricot production costing cores of rupees due to this sudden rain fall and snow fall. This snow fall has dipped the minimum tempters below zero degrees Celsius.<br/><br/>Meanwhile, passengers were stranded at Drass who were traveling to Srinagar from Kargil and police sources said that due to the avalanches the road will be closed for at least three days subject to weather condition.
