Incessant rain has affected normal life and damaged public infrastructure in parts of Gyalshing and Namchi districts in Sikkim. Heavy overnight rain has led to road blockages and damage to property in Gyalshing district's Upper Khandu and Upper Martam, while the overflowing Rangbhang Khola stream has damaged the lower market in Jorethang Majhi village and roads in Majhigaon in Namchi district.
