In Madhya Pradesh, normal life has been affected very badly due to heavy rain in several parts of the state during last twenty four hours. Three persons have been killed in rain related incidents in Mandla district. AIR correspondent reports, several district administrations have issued alert for the people living in low lying areas.In Hoshangabad district, seven gates of Tawa dam have been opened upto five feet height to release excess water stored in the dam. It has led to water logging in different parts of the district and adjoining areas. Administration has asked the people to leave the area and shift to safer places in flood affected Bawai region in the district. Several relief camps and shelter houses have been set-up for the affected people. Traffic on Hoshangabad-Harda has been affected as flood water of river Ganjal flowing over the road at several places. Similarly traffic towards tourist place Pachmarhi is also affected as Pipariya -Pachmarhi road is blocked due to over flowing of flood water on the road and culvert.In Burhanpur district, Tapti river is flowing five feet above the danger mark and it has adversely affected vehicular traffic connecting Nagpur, Indore and Bhopal.
