Heavy rain disturbed normal life in entire Jaipur division of Rajasthan. 150 to 300 mm rainfall has recorded at various places since last 12 hours. In Jaipur 5 persons including 2 children died due to rain caused incidents. Heavy rain in Jaipur was started from midnight and it was continued till 9 am. 170 mm rainfall has recorded in 8 hours which creates problems for people. Water entered in low line areas and many houses were collapsed.Roads were also badly damaged due to rain . the administration has shifted many people to the safer places. 10000 food packets are being distributed among affected people. Evacuation of water and restoration of electricity is being done in many areas. RAC and police was also alerted keeping in view of flood like situation in some parts of the city.The district administration of Jaipur and Sikar have declared holiday in schools due to heavy rain ,many trains are also running late because of sliding near tracks..Heavy rain has reported from many other places also.20 to 25 cm rainfall has recorded from Dausa,Sawaimadhopur and Karauli districts.According to Jaipur Met 0ffice heavy rain may occur in northern parts of the state in next 24 hours.
