In Himachal Pradesh, incessant rain in the last three days has affected normal life and caused damage to the life and property in many parts of the state. The cloud burst occurred at Batol, the far flung village of Chamba district this morning, killing one person and swept away one house, ten small bridges and ten water flour mills. A team of state administration reached the site immediately for relief and rescue operation.In the capital, Shimla, also two buildings were collapsed due to land slide caused by the rain last night. There is no casuality as the people residing in these buildings had already been evacuated as precautionary measure. The movement of vehicular traffic has been obstructed on many roads in the remote district of Lahaul Spiti and hundreds of tourists are reported to be stranded in Kaza, the headquarter of Spiti district. Due to disruption of vehicular movement, the Lahaul Spiti is started facing the scarcity of petrol and diesel.
