The Ministry of Railways has withdrawn the estimate of water expenditure which was sent to the Latur Administration. It clarified that the Latur Administration had requested Railways to indicate the transportation cost of water and shared the information. <br/><br/>An official release said, Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu is personally monitoring the entire operation sending water to Latur and has directed to continue to run the trains till there is a need of water. <br/><br/>He said, the settlement of the operational cost will never be a constraint in this regard. Railways have decided to send water to drought hit Latur District of Maharashtra and arranged 100 tank wagons through its Kota Workshop and dispatched them to the region.
