Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee has assured that the Railways will not forcibly acquire land for its projects. She said those willing to donate land would be adequately compensated while in areas where land availability is critical, one family member of donors will get employment apart from compensation.<br/>The Minister was laying the foundation stone of the Nalikul-Tarakeswar line doubling project in West Bengal. She pointed out that the lesson learnt from Singur is that land must not be taken forcibly.<br/>
