Railways to eliminate 110 unmanned level crossings in Kerala

The Railways have decided to eliminate all the 110 unmanned level crossings in Kerala by the end of next year. Divisional Railway Manager, Thiruvananthapuram, Mr Rajiv Dutt Sharma informed this to journalists today after flagging off the final phase of the Saftey Awareness Rath Yathra, at Ernakulam Junction Railway Station of the two Railway Divisions in the state, Thiruvananthapuram Division has 108 unmanned level crossings, while the remaining two are in the Palakkad Railway Division.
