Railways have decided to conduct examinations on a common date across the country to prevent alleged malpractices in the recruitments.<br/>According to railway ministry sources Railway Recruitment Boards will conduct examinations on a common date throughout the country. Official sources said that the examinations are being postponed and once the new date is finalised it will be duly notified across the country.<br/>The Railway Minister Mr. Mamata Banerjee had recently removed chairmen of all the 20 Railway Recruitment Boards and promised to review their functioning in the rail budget for the next fiscal. Besides the three common languages – English, Hindi and Urdu, the candidates are now allowed to appear in regional languages like Bengali, Oriya and Marathi.<br/>
