The Railways has suspended five senior officers and also transferred Divisional Railway Manager of Jhansi Division S K Agarwal in connection with train derailment in Kanpur.<br/><br/>According to North Central Railway spokesperson, five officers, including Senior Divisional Mechanical Engineer ( carriage and Wagon), Divisional Engineer (line), Jhansi and three senior section engineers of Jhansi division have been suspended.<br/><br/>The spokesperson said the action has been taken in view of circumstantial evidence related to the accident. Meanwhile, Railway Safety Commissioner of Eastern Circle P K Acharya is investigating the accident and he is already in Kanpur.
