Indian Railways has registered a revenue growth of 8.52 per cent during the period from 11th to 20th of this month, as compared to the same period last year. According to an official release, the revenue earnings of Railways during the period were around 2495 crore rupees as compared to about 2299 crore rupees during the same period last year.The total goods earnings have gone up from over 1497 crore rupees during the period from 11th to 20th September 2010, to over 1614 crore rupees during the same period this year, showing an increase of 7.82 per cent.
