Railways is planning to operate semi-high speed trains in nine rail corridors including Delhi-Agra and Delhi-Chandigarh. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, Minister of State for Railways Manoj Sinha said the semi-high speed trains will run at a speed between 160 to 200 kilometres per hour. He said all works related with introduction of a new express train at 160 kilometres per hour on Delhi-Agra have been completed.
