The Railways have planned special trains from important places of the country for Ajmer in the view of annual Urs of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti being held during this month. It has introduced four pairs of new trains, running of five pairs trains extended and two pairs of train frequency increased to provide additional services to the pilgrims this year. According to an official release, the trains have been started from different places including New Jalpaiguri, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bandra, Jhansi, Chapra, Kacheguda and Barauni. The special train runs are continuing since 16th of this month and will continue upto 1st of June.
