Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has said that the Railways is in an overhauling phase and its network will be transformed completely in next five years. Addressing a gathering in Mumbai yesterday, Mr <br/><br/>Prabhu said, railways has prepared a clear cut roadmap under which 8 lakh 50 thousand crore rupees of investment has been planned in the next five years. Mr Prabhu said, adding and setting up of Rail Coach Factories is a part of it. <br/>'<br/>The Minister said that with the stress on 'Rail Badhhega- Desh Badhhega', his ministry has launched several reforms and passenger-friendly initiatives. Mr. Prabhu said, the railway has an ambitious plan to induct about 40,000 coaches with improved interiors and upgraded facilities. <br/><br/>He further said that the effort to retrofit these odd coaches is going to be a game changer as it will not only transform the entire rail network, but it will also generate jobs. '<br/><br/>The Minister also said, his ministry is working to upgrade the Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Kolkata corridor which will increase the speed of trains.<br/>
