Railways has issued a show cause notice to contractor and contemplating stern action in Tejas Express food poisoning case. Yesterday, the Mumbai-bound 26 passengers complained of uneasiness and nausea after having breakfast served on the train. <br/><br/>An enquiry has also been ordered in the case. An IRCTC officer and a catering manager have been placed under suspension after the incident. <br/><br/>The Kitchen where food was prepared was inspected by area officer Madgaon after the incident and samples lifted for testing including soup sachets. <br/><br/>Group Manager of IRCTC went to Chiplun for coordination at the hospital for all arrangements to ensure the comfort of admitted passengers and their onward movement. <br/><br/>The train was given a out of course halt at chiplun and passengers were attended by railway doctor. As reported by hospital, no patient is in serious condition. <br/><br/>The Tejas Express, one of the premium trains of the Indian Railways, connects Mumbai and Karmali in Goa.
