Railways incurred losses of over Rs 36 Crore 87 lakh due to farmers agitation in country during this year

<span style="color: #222222;">Due to farmers agitation in the country,  the Indian Railways incurred losses of over 36 Crore 87 lakh rupees during this year. In a reply to a question in the Lok Sabha, Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that in Fifteen Railway Zones 1879 trains were blocked or obstructed by the agitators, resulting in losses.<br />''<br />''Minister also informed that all the regular time tabled trains operating as Mail or Express Covid Special (MSPC), Holiday special (HSP) Trains services included in the working Time Table of 2021 have been restored with regular numbers and with fare and categorization as applicable. However, he said, Second class of such trains shall continue to run as reserved except any relaxation permitted in special cases.</span><br />
