In view of the Independence Day celebrations, the Railways have decided to suspend train operation between Delhi Junction and Delhi Shahdara for two-and-a-half hours on Sunday. A Northern Railway spokesperson said in New Delhi that train services will remain suspended in the section from 6 am to 8.30 am in view of the Independence Day ceremony at Red Fort. He said due to the suspension, several trains will either be diverted or regulated at various places.
