Railways has approved a new scheme to make available free quality drinking water round the clock at Railway stations through reverse osmosis process. Under this scheme, private parties will be allowed to install and operate water vending machine through commercial advertising route. Railways will provide electricity and water for implementing the project. Zonal railways have been directed to invite applications from interested parties to roll out this scheme.<br/><br/><br/>
