The Railway Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee laid the foundation stone of the rail link expansion programme from Canning to Bhangankhali in West Bengal today. She also laid the foundation stone of double line between Ghutiery Sheriff to Canning. On the occasion she announced that a training centre of the Railway Protection Force will be set up at Canning in South 24 Pargana district of West Bengal soon. The Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting Mr. Choudhary Mohan Jatua, Minister of State for Shipping Mr.Mukul Roy were also present on the occasion.
