The Railways has registered 26 per cent increase on revenue earnings during the 1st ten days of this month. An official statement said, over 3000 crore rupees were earned during the period from 1st to 10th of October this year as against nearly 2500 crore rupees earned during the same period last year.

The total earnings on goods also showed an increase of 34 per cent with more than 2000 crore rupees earned during the period from 1st to 10th of October this year as compared to over 1600 crore rupees earned during the same period last year.
