Railways Revenue Earnings has registered an increase of 7.57 per cent during the period from 1st to 10th of December compared to the corresponding period last year. According to an official statement, the total approximate earnings of Indian Railways on originating basis during this period were around 2481 crore rupees compared to 2307 crore rupees during the same period last year. It said, the total goods earnings have also gone up from nearly 1589 crore rupees last year to 1659 crore rupees this year showing an increase of 4.39 per cent.
