Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu has said, the railway project to connect Sikkim capital Gangtok with rest of country will begin soon. <br/><br/>Addressing a day long function on Good Governance held in Gangtok today, the Minister said, all related hurdles have been removed and the formalities are expected to be completed within few days. He said, the improved rail connectivity in this region will greatly benefit the State and its people.<br/><br/>Emphasizing the need to prepare an integrated plan for the development of the coastal and hilly states of the country, Mr Prabhu said, the government wants to connect all north eastern states with good road and rail connectivity.
