Ministry of Railways today took a safety review meeting with 6 Railway Zones including East-Central Railway, Eastern-Railway and Southern-Railway. <br/><br/>The meeting was chaired by Minister of State for Railways Rajen Gohain. An official release said, during the meeting Mr Gohain directed the Railway Zones to conduct safety drives regularly and prepare a time bound action plan on safety matters. <br/><br/>He asked them to give top priority to safety measures in railway operations. These zones were identified for the safety meeting in view of some concerns about safety issues.
