Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu reached Kathmandu on a 3 day visit to Nepal yesterday. AIR correspondent reports, this visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral relations between India and Nepal especially in the area of trade and development. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that Just after arriving at Kathmandu Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu met business leaders of Nepal. Areas of mutual interest and how India and Nepal can come together for development of the region were discussed. In the evening at dinner hosted by Indian Ambassador, Mr Prabhu met ministers, MPs, political leaders, industry heads and cross section Nepalese society.

Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu arrived at Kathmandu today on a 3 day visit to Nepal. Besides delivering key note address at Nepal Infrastructure Summit 2017, Mr Prabhu will also have meetings with various leaders and businessmen during his stay at Kathmandu. <br/><br/>On first day of his visit, Railway minster Suresh Pradbhu held luncheon meeting with Nepalese business leaders. Later he attended reception hosted by Indian Ambassador to Nepal. Several dignitaries including ministers, bureaucrats and businessmen were present on the occasion. <br/><br/>Mr Prabhu also visited world famous Pashupatinath temple. On Sunday he will meet Physical Infrastructure and Transport minister Ramesh Lehak and discuss various developmental issues. Mr Prabhu will deliver key note address at Nepal Infrastructure Summit 2017 organised by Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI). He will also call on President of Nepal Smt Bidhya Devi Bhandari. This visit is expected to further strengthen Indo-Nepal ties.

He was received at the airport this afternnon by the Ambassador of India to Nepal Ranjit Rae. <br/><br/>During his stay at Kathmandu, Mr Prabhu will deliver key note address at the opening session of Nepal Infrastructure Summit 2017 organised by Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI). He will call on to President of Nepal Mrs Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Mr Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda). <br/><br/>Mr Prabhu will have meetings with Mr Ramesh Lehak, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport and Nepalese businessmen. He will also visit famous Pashupatinath temple and attend reception hosted by Indian Ambassador.
