Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday flagged off three new trains and laid the foundation stone of an archery and table tennis academy at Howrah.The three new trains which were introduced on Wednesday were the Sealdah-Rampurhat Intercity Express, a tri weekly train from Sealdah, the Howrah-Suri Express, a daily train from Howrah and Shalimar and the Baripada Intercity Express, a tri-weekly service from Shalimar.Flagging off a special exhibition train Vivekananda Express on the 150th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Railway Minister said, the train will showcase the life and philosophy of the great spiritual leader. It will cover important stations taking the message of religious harmony and unity of the masses.
