Railway Minister Dinesh Trivedi flagged off the first ever Double Decker Train at a function in Howrah station this evening. The fully air conditioned Double Decker Train will run between Howrah and Dhanbad five days in a week.

The train consists of nine coaches is having 128 seats in each coach. The Railway Minister also flagged off 21 pair new trains at the function as a Puja gift. Speaking on the occasion, Trivedi said that, the introduction of Double Decker Train was announced in last Railway Budget.
