Railways today launched Rail Humsafar Saptaah to highlight its achievements during the last two years. Each day of the week will focus on a particular theme as Satkar Diwas, Sewa Diwas, Satarkata Diwas, Saamanjasya Diwas, Sanyojan Diwas and Sanchaar Diwas. Railway Ministry is observing Swachchta Diwas today. Minister of Railways Suresh Prabhu has directed all the General Managers to personally supervise various activities to be undertaken during the week. <br/><br/>During the last two years, a number of initiatives have been launched and significant achievements made by Indian Railways in all spheres, especially in its responsiveness, accessibility and improvement of passenger amenities.
