Railway hotels scam case: ED summones Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav

Enforcement Directorate has summoned former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi and his son Tejashwi Yadav in connection with its money laundering probe in the railway hotels scam case. <br/><br/>Former Deputy CM, Tejashwi has been asked to appear before the investigating officer on 10th of next month while Rabri Devi on 11th. She was earlier summoned twice by the ED in this case but she is understood to have sought more time to appear.<br/><br/>The agency had taken cognisance of a CBI FIR in this regard to initiate the probe. In July this year, the CBI had registered a case in connection with irregularities in awarding the tender for maintenance of IRCTC hotels in Ranchi and Puri against the RJD Chief, his family members and others. The tender was given when Lalu Prasad was Railways Minister during UPA rule.
