Railway budget for the year 2010-11 will be presented in the Lok Sabha tomorrow by Railway Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee. This will be the second time she will be presenting the rail budget for the UPA Government. Ms. Banerjee had earlier presented the rail budget twice during the NDA regime as well. Last time, 121 new trains and extensions were announced, out of which 92 have started running and the rest are expected to start running by the 31st of March. Out of the 14, Duronto trains announced, 9 have become operational. AIR correspondent says the budget is expected to be pro-aam admi.
