Railway Board has transferred Amarnath General Manager of Metro Railway in Kolkata following repeated breakdown of Metro Services in the city. General Manager of Chitranjan Locomotive work P.B. Murti has taken over as the new GM of Metro Railway.The four members inquiry committee set up to probe recent derailment of a metro rake in Kolkata continued their investigation for the second day today. The high level inquiry committee was set up following instruction of Railway Minister Ms. Mamata Banerjee. The inquiry committee will submit its report to the Railway board soon. AIR Kolkata correspondent reports that the metro rail services in the city was disrupted on Friday also following technical snag.
