Under the Swachh Bharat Mission, Eastern Railway apprehended about 4,500 passengers during December 2015 for various cleanliness-related offenses in running trains, station and office premises of Eastern Railway. A total fine of Rs.4.51 lakh was realized from the offenders, official sources informed AIR today.
