Railways has announced one of the world's largest recruitment processes for over 89 thousand posts. <br/><br/>According to the Ministry of Railway, online applications are invited for Group C Level-1 like Track maintainer, Points man, Helper, Gateman, Porter in the age group of 18-31 years. <br/><br/>For Group C Level -2 categories like Assistant Loco Pilots, Technicians (Fitter, Crane Driver, Blacksmith, Carpenter) in the age group of 18-28 years through Railway Recruitment Boards websites. <br/><br/>Candidate who have passed Class 10th and ITI will be eligible for Group C Level-1 posts. Candidates who have passed Class 10th and ITI or diploma in engineering or a graduation in engineering can apply for Group C Level-2 posts.<br/><br/>The Ministry said, for Group C level-2 posts, the monthly salary scale will be 19,900 to 63,200 will be given to the selected candidates. <br/><br/>While for Group C Level-1 posts, the monthly salary scale will be Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900. <br/><br/>Applications for Group C Level-2 will be accepted till 5th March and for Group C Level-1 till 12th of March. <br/><br/>It said, free Sleeper Class Railway Pass facility will be available for SC/ST candidates for Computer Based Aptitude Tests, Physical Efficiency Tests, Document verification during the recruitment stages.
