In Rajasthan, rail traffic on Delhi-Mumbai section remains completely disrupted, as the Gujjar activists continue their Maha-Padav on railway tracks in Pilupura village in Bhartpur district. The trains on this section have been diverted either through Jaipur or Bhopal. A control room has been set up at Kota to give information about diversion/cancellation of the trains. The telephone numbers of this control room are 0744-2467172 and 0744-2467173. The Gujjars have also blocked the Bayana-Hindaun road. They have also threatened to block some more rail and road routes at different places of the state, today. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister Mr. Ashok Gehlot took stock of the situation arising out of Gujjar agitation. The Spokesperson of the government has appealed the Gujjar community to resolve the issue through mutual talks. The government has again clarified that one per cent reservation to the community under Special Backward Class has already been given. Rest four per cent reservation will also be given after the High Court’s decision in the case. The case will come up for hearing in Rajasthan High Court tomorrow.
