AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi urged youth organisations of the Congress party to get closer to the people to understand their issues. He was addressing a leadership camp of the Kerala Students Union at Edathala near Kochi on Saturday. <br/><br/>Urging young party activists to strengthen the youth organisations at the grassroots level, Mr. Gandhi called upon them to be more organised so that there would be no violence against them. <br/><br/>The AICC General Secretary noted that there were about 1000 people supporting him when he arrived in Mumbai yesterday, while about 15 Shiv Sena activists stood outside with black flags. Mr. Gandhi took every one by surprise, as his visit to Edathala was an unscheduled one. He later left for Delhi.<br/>
