Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is arriving in Cuttack today on a two day visit to Odisha. Our correspondent reports, AICC general secretary Rahul will oversee the organisational elections of the youth and the Student Congress. Rahul is scheduled to interact with students at Cuttack today and then fly to Berhampur. After a night halt at Sambalpur, he will interact with students and then leave for Baripada to interact with the younger generation. Rahul Gandhi's visit is politically significant as the Congress high command is yet to name the Orissa Pradesh Congress Committee President. AIR correspondent reports, Rahul's visit comes in the back drop of the state assembly in session, and the party MLAs demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on the issue of illegal land acquisition for the proposed Vedanta University.
