Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi has promised sports facilities in Manipur if the party comes to power. Addrssing a rally at Wangjing village in interior Thoubal district today, he said the youth who were interested in sports will be provided with all the facilities by the Centre. He said during his brief stay in Manipur, which has produced sportspersons like Olympic medal winning boxer Mary Kom.The Congress vice-president also said that his party would also try to set up a National Institute of Technology in the state.
