<span style="color: #222222;">Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's today's visit to Pathaar in Malappuram district in Kerala has been cancelled on account of Maoist threat. The visit was cancelled as per the direction from police authorities. He has left the state after visiting floods affected regions in Wayanad and Malappuram in Kerala for last 3 days. <br />''<br />'' During his visit he had met more 1000 affected people in 30 various regions. He had promised to do everything possible for speedy issual of compensation and rehabilitation of the people during his visit. <br />''<br />'' Earlier, Mr Gandhi had sought for early compensation and speedy rehabilitation for flood-affected people of his parliamentary constituency Wayanad, during his interaction with locals at marooned St. Claret Public School in Wayanad.<br />''<br />''Wayanad and Malappuram were the worst hit with incessant rain and landslides that claimed over 125 lives in the State. While 60 people died in Malappuram, 14 lost their lives in rain-related incidents in Wayanad district.</span><br />
