Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi has written a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, urging him to look into the grievances of the soldiers, including One Rank One Pension. <br/><br/>Mr Gandhi requested the Prime Minister to ensure soldiers get their due whether it is regarding compensation, disability pension or parity with civil employees. <br/><br/>He said, OROP must be implemented in meaningful way to satisfy ex-servicemen. The Congress leader said, on the occasion of Diwali, the message must be sent to soldiers that nation's gratitude is expressed both in words and in deed.
