All India Congress Committee (AICC) meeting to finalise the party's strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls, has begun in the National Capital. Addressing the meeting, Party President Sonia Gandhi said, the Congress is prepared to take on the battle ahead. She said, the decision of the Congress Working Comittee on Rahul Gandhi was final and he will lead the party's poll campaign for Lok Sabha elections. Mrs. Gandhi said, the party will fight for the upkeep of its secular tradition.

Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, Congress President Sonia Gandhi, Party Vice-President Rahul Gandhi alongwith senior Cabinet Ministers, including Kamal Nath, AK Antony, Sushil Kumar Shinde, are attending the crucial meet.

The meeting comes a day after the party unanimously appointed Rahul Gandhi as the leader of the Lok Sabha poll campaign.
