Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi has taken on RSS, blaming it for assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. Addressing a public rally in Thane district yesterday, Rahul Gandhi said that RSS people killed Gandhiji and today their people talk of him.

He said, RSS opposed Sardar Patel and Gandhiji. He also ridiculed senior BJP leaders for claiming credit for introducing computers in India.

The Congress leader attributed technological advancement in the country to late Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and technocrat Sam Pitroda.

The rally was Mr Gandhi’s last public function during his two-day Maharashtra tour which began on Wednesday.
