The Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi on his last day of two day tour to his constituency Amethi, on Wednesday slammed the Modi government for being anti farmers. Addressing a large gathering after unveiling the statue of Vinoba Bhave in? Amethi, he said that Congress will vehemently oppose any move of NDA government which will be at the cost of the welfare of farmers and common people. <br/><br/>He said that only due to fierce opposition of Congress MPs in the Parliament, the Modi government had to take back the Land Acquisition Bill.<br/>Rahul said that his party will not allow the Modi government to take decisions arbitrarily at the cost of poor and downtrodden. <br/><br/>Rahul also attacked RSS saying it had a tendency to create rift and violence in the society. He, however, did not say a word about lathi-charge on Congress leaders in Lucknow two days ago.
