All India Congress Committee General Secretary Rahul Gandhi who is on a day’s visit to Mumbai today said that he would tour Maharashtra more often to boost the grass root cadre and assist party preparations for the 2014 assembly elections. Interacting with National Students Union of India delegates from the state in Mumbai Rahul said that he plans to undertake constituency-wise tours to take a first hand view of the party's strengths and weaknesses. The Congress leader said he would extensively campaign and tour the state for the 2014 elections.
