Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today lead a delegation of students of Film and Television Institute of India, FTII to the Rashtrapati Bhavan. He requested the President to intervene and help in resolving the FTII crisis.<br/><br/>Talking to media persons after the meeting, the Congress leader accused Bharatiya Janata Party, BJP of politicising the FTII row. He said, every institution in this country that has developed on merit is now being destroyed. He said, government is promoting mediocrity in various institutions. he said, the appointed Chairman of the institution has no merit.<br/><br/>The deadlock over the ongoing strike in FTII has showed no signs of a solution with the students still in no mood to dilute their opposition to the appointment of TV actor and BJP member Gajendra Chauhan as the chairman.
