Rahul Gandhi calls youths to join politics for vibrant India

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has called upon youths to join politics and join hands for a vibrant and powerful India. He also said they should work for upkeeping the sovereignity and integrity of the nation. The AICC general secretary arrived this afternoon at Cuttack on a two-day visit to Odisha to exclusively discuss with students in the making of a new India and share ideas of the young generation. At Cuttack, hundreds of enthusiastic college students asked Rahul a number of questions on poverty alleavation, agriculture, industry and participation of students in politics to get satisfied answers. Later, the Congress leader flew to Berhampur to meet a large number of medical and other stream students and shared their vision on India. He also exchanged views in bringing constructive change in the society.Rahul who was supposed to go to Sambalpur this evening, however, cancelled his trip due to bad weather to make night halt at Gopalpur, about 14 km from Berhampur. He is scheduled to visit Baripada in tribal-dominated Mayurbhanj district tomorrow and meet the students. Surprisingly, the AICC general secretary has barred meetings with party politicians during his visit to Odisha. Elaborate security arrangements have been made for the visit of Rahul Gandhi.
